Define Terrorism

In today’s dysfunctional political environment, is the term “terrorism” conveniently used to negatively label individuals or groups who go against the agenda of the powerful?  Do you instantly cast an emotional judgement when a group or individual is labeled a terrorist by the media?  Terrorism is defined as “the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims.”  If violence and intimidation is used by a group to instill fear and obedience in law abiding US citizens, would we consider the actions of individuals within this group to be terroristic, even if this group is your government?  If the goal is to stop global terrorism, let’s ensure our media and politicians label all individuals and groups, without bias, who use violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims.

Take Whose Country Back?

In an effort to continue to bring balance and equality to the value of all citizens of the United States of America, should we refer to “white” people in the U.S. as “European Americans”?  Would that give new prospective to the term “Take our country back!” if European Americans were reminded that like African Americans, Asian Americans, Indian Americans, and the different variations of Latino Americans, they only have part-ownership in America?
